ONE MORE CHANCE
At the threshold of a half lived life
When I look back at my stars,
The ghosts of my snide past
Kept running behind with scars!
Once I need to pray and thank
The God for being so kind,
For not giving a facile button
In life to roll and rewind!
Lived with a bitter truth
And persistent pain of a life,
Slithering my naive heart
With a sharp edged knife!
The creators solemnly blessed me
And handed me to a gem,
The emotions in their clear hearts
Cannot ever be blamed,
But the gem never loved me
For him, it was just a game!
Bridge of our lone hearts
Failed to connect and build,
Leaving behind the one I ever loved
Cursed me pain, clogged me in guilt!
Blowing out the dire bondage
Today my life is set free,
With hopefully pleading eyes
Are you still waiting for me?
Rejuvenating our broken lives
With long lost sheer romance
Oh my beloved, Will you please
Give me ONE MORE CHANCE?
